Mishaal Rahman and XDA Developers have revealed numerous details about the Pixel 6 Pro, Google's next flagship smartphone. Reputedly, the Pixel 6 Pro will feature a tri-cluster SoC complemented by 12 GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone will be able to vary its 120 Hz refresh rate, too.

A lot has been spoken about the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro ahead of their launch, including what Fabric Cases Google has created for them. Details about Google's in-house Tensor SoC have leaked too, which Mishaal Rahman has expanded upon. According to XDA Developers' Editor-in-chief, all details have been provided by a leaker with the actual phone 'who wishes to remain anonymous'.

Multiple paragraphs would not do the volume of details that Rahman has published justice. Instead, we have outlined them in the table below. In summary, the Pixel 6 Pro will support 120 Hz and 1440p simultaneously, potentially with the same panel that Oppo uses in the Find X3 Pro.

Rahman adds that the Pixel 6 Pro relies on Linux Kernel 5.10 LTS, also supported by AMD Zen 3 processors. Support will last until the end of 2026, which Google could utilise to deliver 5 years of software support for the Pixel 6 series. This also lines up with a rumour circulated in July that Google would offer 5 years of software support from the Pixel 6 series onwards.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will launch with Android 12, itself rumoured to arrive on October 4. The Pixel 6 series may arrive after that though, with both devices potentially shipping as late as October 19. The new, or corroborated details about the Pixel 6 Pro are as follows:
