Looking for an upgrade? Dell's popular XPS 13 can be yours for just US$799 during the company's ongoing sale. Taking US$400 off the regular price, this model features a Comet Lake i5, 8 GB of LPDDR3 , and a 256 GB SSD.

Dell's ever popular XPS 13 is discounted now as a part of the company's semi-annual sale. Taking US$400 off of the usual US$1199 price of this model, US$799 is an excellent price for this well-rounded laptop. This particular version is equipped with the 10th Gen Comet Lake i5-10210U, 8 GB of LPDDR3, and a 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD. The iconic "InfinityEdge display" is of the 1080p, non-touch variety. While not the exact same configuration, your can see our recent review of the older Coffee Lake powered XPS 13 here.

Intel's 10th Gen lineup has been the most confusing in recent memory for potential buyers. For the uninitiated, this 10th Gen Comet Lake CPU is a refined Skylake chip, the same architecture that Intel has offered since its 6th generation of laptop CPUs. Comet Lake features higher clock speeds, but if you are interested in better integrated graphics or a new architecture with better IPC (albeit with lower clock speeds), then Intel's 10th Gen Ice Lake CPUs, such as the i5-1030G4, might be a better choice.

Dell's sale includes many other laptops from the XPS and Inspiron lines, and there are some Alienware machines as well. If you are in the market for an upgrade, now is a good time to check out Dell's website.
