The latest analytics by Sensor Tower show how much GTA 6 has brought in from pre-orders alone. It is sitting at $630 million, and that number is expected to increase as we approach pre-load week and the final launch.

The numbers are in, and no surprise, GTA 6 has already made more money than some games do in their lifetime. The latest analytics show pre-order earnings for the game on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles combined. Another not-so-surprising fact is that a good majority of pre-orders are on PS5.

Sensor Tower has shared the latest revenue numbers, citing that GTA 6 has brought in $630 million from 6.45 million pre-orders. Of these pre-orders, 74% have been on PS5, which has amounted to $468 million in revenue. Xbox stands at 26%, accounting for the remaining $162 million.

All this is before launch, and as we approach the pre-load window, which is a week before November 19, these numbers are expected to climb higher. No doubt, GTA 6 will be the biggest gaming launch in history. Rockstar is releasing the game 13 years after GTA V, and the expectations are astronomical. From the trailers and gameplay footage, it looks like they have delivered.

In its launch week, GTA 6 is expected to bring in up to $5.2 billion globally. That’s an incredible launch even when considering Rockstar has reportedly invested over $2 billion in development and marketing.
