After having recently launched a 14-inch 4K portable monitor, GMK is now ready to ship the 15.6-inch version called the XPanel 2.

The Xpanel 2 is notable for its higher-end features when compared to cheaper 15.6-inch portable monitors like those from Lepow or C-Force. Most notably, the Xpanel 2 supports a native 4K resolution with HDR600, AMD FreeSync, 100 percent AdobeRGB coverage, 10-point capacitive touchscreen, and integrated stereo speakers. Many of these functions are targeted towards gamers and gaming consoles.

We were impressed by the 14-inch 4K version when it launched late last year and so this larger 15.6-inch 4K model will likely offer similar results. The 14-inch version had excellent colors and contrast, but the slow black-white and gray-gray response times resulted in noticeable ghosting when playing fast-paced games. We'll have to test the 15.6-inch version soon to see if these drawbacks have been addressed.
