Full GoPro Hero 10 Black datasheet leaks ahead of announcement

GoPro is mere hours away from launching the Hero 10 Black, with the action camera set to arrive at 06:00 PST (13:00 UTC). However, Roland Quandt has already leaked the device's complete datasheet. In effect, Quandt has now revealed everything about the Hero 10 Black, having already published numerous marketing renders and its European pricing.

As expected, the Hero 10 Black has GoPro's new GP2 processor and a 23 MP camera. The new camera and processor allow the Hero 10 Black to shoot in 5.3K at 60 FPS, 4K at 120 FPS and 2.7K at 240 FPS. The camera can capture videos at 240 FPS when set to 1080p as well. The built-in 1,720 mAh battery should also keep the Hero 10 Black ticking over during longer video captures.

According to the datasheet below, the Hero 10 Black also supports Hypersmooth 4.0, building on the Hypersmooth 3.0 in last year's Hero 9 Black. Timewarp 3.0 returns though, as do GoPro's Time Lapse, Night Lapse, Liveburst and Looping camera modes. Incidentally, the Hero 10 Black remains compatible with existing GoPro accessories, or Mods as it calls them. GoPro speaks of the front display running at a higher refresh rate than its predecessor's, albeit without disclosing what this is.

The Hero 10 Black will launch in the Eurozone for €539.99. Pre-order dates and pricing in markets, such as the UK and US, remain unknown.
