At first glance, you might mistake the Fujitsu SH760 for an HP ProBook: the two share a certain square and blocky piano black styling that suggests a low price point.
But a quick glance at the specs confirms that this is an i7 laptop with a Core i7-860 inside, and even a dedicated graphics card. The business looks are a bit of camouflage for any exec who wants something a bit snazzy to lug around the office

Fujitsu's LifeBook SH760 may not look like a powerhouse notebook, but inside its tiny frame are a high-end Intel Core i7 CPU, a USB 3.0 controller chip, a decent NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics card and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Despite the formidable specs, it has a 13.3in screen and it weighs a slight 1.6kg. A lot of power lies within the small chassis of the Fujitsu LifeBook SH760, making it the perfect notebook for anyone who wants a highly mobile laptop with good speed and plenty of features.

Despite sluggish performance, an overly glossy finish and some annoying key placements, the LifeBook SH530 is still a nice little 13.3in laptop that will please most users. It has plenty of built-in features, it is very portable and it's solidly built. We just wish it shipped with 4GB of RAM for the price, had less gloss and a better keyboard layout.

Overall, we can safely sum up the SH561 as a dependable and portable machine with decent processing and graphics hardware to match. Although it is tough for us to fault the SH561 apart from its tight viewing angle, it would also be hard to justify the pricey $2,388 tag when more affordable alternatives are available.

Compact office. The Fujitsu Lifebook SH531 would like to make points as a subnotebook for consumers and, above all, impress office users who have requirements on mobility. But the Lifebook has difficulties in sticking out of the mass of similar notebooks.

Fujitsu: Fujitsu is a Japanese technology group listed on the Nikkei 225 with origins dating back to 1935. Its products and services focus on information technology, telecommunications, semiconductors, networks, computer and communications products and advanced microelectronics.
In 1999, the cooperation with Siemens in the IT sector (servers, notebooks, desktop PCs, etc.) started under the Fujitsu-Siemens brand. 10 years later, this cooperation ended.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
NVIDIA GeForce 310M: The GeForce 310M is the successor of the GeFore G210M and based on the same chip with very similar clock rates (shader speed +30MHz to 1530MHz).
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430: DirectX 11 chip with the codename Park LP, slowest clocked HD 5400 series chip.
Intel HD Graphics 3000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The HD 3000 is the faster (internally GT2 called) version with 12 Execution Units (EUs).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M: Entry level graphics card based on the new GF119 chip with a 64 Bit memory bus or on the GF108 with 128 Bit memory bus but lower clock rates.
Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processor graphics card in the high end Ivy Bridge models. Offers a different clock speed in the different CPU models (ULV to desktop quad core) and therefore a different performance.
» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
620M:
The Core i7-620M is the fastest Dual-Core CPU for laptops (at the time of introduction in Q1 2010). The 620M clocks betwenn 2.66 and 3.33 GHz due to the Turbo Mode and because of Hyperthreading, 4 threads are executed simultaneously. In the package, Intel also included a second die with an integrated GPU (GMA HD) and a memory controller. Therefore, the TDP of 35 Watt of the whole package is still quite good.
Intel Core i5:
460M: The Core i5-460M has only 3 MB L3 Cache (compared to the I7-620M) and clocks between 2.53-2.8 GHz (Turbo Mode). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously. An integrated graphics card (GMA HD) and a DDR3 memory controller are also included in the package.
2410M:
Dual-core processor based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller. The CPU is clocked at 2.3 GHz (Turbo Boost 2.6-2.9 GHz) and the GPU at 650 (1200 MHz Turbo).
3210M: Fast Ivy-Bridge-based dual-core, includes HD 4000 GPU, core clock 2.5 - 3.1 GHz
