The game attracted a huge number of players thanks to its open-world design and its setting in the Wizarding World. And if you’ve been thinking about trying it but never got around to buying it, now might be the perfect time to jump in.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the Harry Potter universe, but it takes place in the 1800s, long before the events of the books and movies many of us have read and watched. You play as a student at Hogwarts who has access to a mysterious ancient power, and you get to explore the castle, nearby villages, and other magical locations while learning spells, brewing potions, and upgrading your abilities.

On Steam, the game currently has over 140,000 reviews, 91% of them positive. On top of that, the game is also Steam Deck-friendly ("Verified" status) and you can use a third-party launcher like Heroic to play it.
