SSD prices have been rising quickly over the past few months due to the ongoing memory crisis, making upgrades harder for users. However, amid the price hikes, SanDisk has rolled out a new deal that should make things easier for Xbox owners.

The WD Black D30 Game Drive, an SSD designed for Xbox, is currently available at a massive discount. The 2TB model is normally priced at $404.99, but right now, you can score it for only $119.99. In short, you’ll be saving around $285 with this offer. 

The 1TB version is also discounted, dropping from $239.99 to $99.99. The 500GB model, however, is still listed at its regular $74.99 price. At that point, it doesn’t make much sense, as by spending just $25 more, you can get the 1TB version instead.

WD Black D30 compatibility and features 

The WD Black D30 is compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, making it a good option for players who own multiple Xbox systems or are upgrading from an older console. Setup is also very simple, as the drive connects through USB and works right out of the box. What’s interesting is that it can also be used with a PC or PlayStation, so even if you sell your Xbox in the future, the SSD won’t go to waste.
