Facebook is rolling out three new features, but India is the first market to get them. Fortunately, the rest of the world is expected to follow it quite soon. These features are Voice Posts, Stories archive, and the ability to save videos and photos directly to the Facebook cloud storage.
Two of the three new features mentioned above come as a direct consequence of the changes in the Facebook Camera.
First, users get a new option to save photos and videos directly to the Facebook cloud storage when shooting with the in-app Facebook Camera. For entry-range devices with a limited amount of internal storage, this feature is pure gold.
The second noticeable change is that the Facebook Camera now has an Audio option that allows its users to share voice messages as Voice Posts.
At last, there is the archive feature that allows users to save the Facebook Stories they want to keep around and re-live at some point in their digital future.
Facebook users in India are the first ones to get these features, and the rest of the world should get them later this month. The Facebook app for Android got an update earlier today in Europe, but these new features are not present yet. We will keep you posted. In the meantime, feel free to drop a comment if you happen to be one of the lucky ones already enjoying — or not — Voice Posts, cloud storage, and Stories archive capabilities.
