Epic Games Store has revealed its final free game for the holiday season. As MeguminShiro has hinted before the official reveal, it's Hell Let Loose, a unique AAA title with a ton of hardcore elements to it. The game generally goes for $49.99 when there's no sale in place, but you can currently claim it for $0 on the storefront.
Unlike the last few holiday season giveaways from Epic Games Store, this one will remain available for a while. To be specific, you can get Hell Let Loose from the storefront from now until January 9 16:00 UTC. After that, a new free game will replace it, and it will be part of the regular weekly giveaway.
About the current free game, Hell Let Loose is a tactical first-person shooter that lets players experience the intense environment of World War II. It basically features multiplayer battles, with two teams of up to 50 players going against each other in large-scale combat.
While it's a multiplayer-only game, there are different modes. Each mode offers a different experience, encouraging players to employ different tactics to get the upper hand against the opposition. The teams also have specific roles, letting players stick with the playstyle that they prefer.
Another highlight of this current free game on Epic Games Store is that it emphasizes teamwork over individual performance. It's crucial to work together and communicate effectively with team members to achieve objectives. The maps also have a degree of realism to them, with the title featuring the iconic battles that took place in North African, Western, and Eastern Fronts of World War II.
