Dynabook unveils dynaEdge XR1 extended reality glasses
Dynabook has introduced the dynaEdge XR1 extended reality glasses for businesses, allowing wearers to see information overlaid across their view of the real world. Travellers can see information on famous sights, workers can refer to repair manuals, and business workers can see live translations of conversations while wearing the glasses.
The dynaEdge XR1 uses LentinAR's PinTILT optical module to project 1,920 x 1,080 pixel images to each eye at up to 1,000 nits of brightness. A 13 MP camera allows wearers to take photographs, while stereo speakers allow them to take calls. Background noise is reduced by beamforming microphones. Two additional monochrome computer vision cameras provide the ability to accurately overlay images across reality.
The glasses are connected by a USB-C cable to a dynaEdge C1 XR Controller. The C1 is powered by an eight-core ARM SoC and controlled by the touchpad, 4-way controller, or internal motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, compass). The controller connects to smartphones over Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
The glasses weigh 89 g (3.1 oz.) and measure 163.6 x 53.5 x 173.8 mm (6.4 x 2.1 x 6.8 in.). The controller weighs 222 g (7.8 oz.) and measures 65 × 112 × 27.2 mm (2.6 x 4.4 x 1.1 in.). Pricing has not been revealed, but will likely be similar to the NTT QONOQ Mirza XR glasses based on the same LentinAR optical technology.

Fujitsu is pleased to announce the launch of orders for the dynaEdge XR1 transparent XR glasses and the dynaEdge C1 dedicated XR controller, which aim to create a new style of solution by integrating computing and services and displaying information in space.
The dynaEdge XR1 transmissive XR glasses use a transmissive optical module to display information in space while visualizing real space. In this way, we will provide a new solution that fuses real and virtual spaces.
The XR controller "dynaEdge C1" is a dedicated controller device that can be connected to the "dynaEdge XR1". Equipped with intuitive 4-way buttons and a touchpad, it realizes various functions in space. We will provide a style of learning computing by recognizing the scenery by AI, assisting conversations, and linking with smartphones.

By connecting the PC with the dedicated application "dynaEdge XR Workspace" installed and "dynaEdge XR1" via USB Type-C™, it is possible to display a virtual desktop on the XR glasses. You can take advantage of multi-screens on the go.
■ Further use case areas using this product:
Utilizing this product, we will also develop solutions in the field DX area. We will propose the acceleration of on-site DX with various DX solutions, such as manual display for on-site work, remote work support, and picking support.
At the same time, we will take advantage of the features of this product to propose the application of XR technology to new areas. For example, we will promote the creation of new experiential value through XR technology through AR guides and content display at museums, art galleries, city walks, and sports games.
