Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be free on Epic Games Store on April 6
Even though Dying Light is nearly seven years old at this point, Techland did a stellar job of keeping it topped up with content right until its sequel, Dying Light 2, launched earlier this year. It may feel a bit dated in 2023 but it's still worth checking out. The game will soon be up for grabs on the Epic Games Store.
Techland has announced Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be free on the platform between April 6 and April 13. It adds a ton of goodies to the base game, including new cosmetics and a large cache of weapons that makes traversing through the harsh Harran terrain a lot easier. The game's season pass is also included. It opens up new areas of the map and adds a new multiplayer mode.
Those who redeem the game on the Epic Games Store also get extra in-game items, such as the Last Hope, Alternator Hammer, Deadeye's Bow blueprint, Survival Kit bundle and an outfit. As is the case with all EGS giveaways, the game will be yours to keep after claiming it. We'd recommend that you wait a day or so before trying to claim a copy based on other high-profile giveaways like GTA V and Death Stranding.
