88.1% Dell XPS 13 9310 Core i7 Laptop Review: The 11th Gen Tiger Lake Difference | Notebookcheck
10th gen Intel Ice Lake introduced significant graphics upgrades over the aging UHD Graphics 620 and the 11th gen Tiger Lake series is yet another huge leap. CPU performance, however, hasn't changed by all that much.

70% Dell XPS 13 (9310) review: The silver workhorse
Source: Gadgets Now English
With top-of-the-line specs and a silver-white colour scheme, the Dell XPS 13 (9310) comes in an all-metal, very sturdy body. It offers a 4K display with crisp visuals. The overall performance of the laptop is quite fast and the laptop can handle the pressures of multitasking for office professionals quite well. With heavy applications, there might be some heating issues. Lack of ports may be a cause of worry for some. Also, the heat dissipation in the device could have been better. Other than that, there are very few cons one could find with the Dell XPS 13 (9310). At a starting price of Rs 2,09,990, it is a lot to ask for but if you are willing to spend all that cash on a 4K display and a Core-i7 processor in a Dell machine only, the XPS 13 (9310) is a reliable choice.

The Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition isn’t for everyone. There’s no question that users who are already deep into Linux are better off installing their own distros and drivers. But for the normie user who is just starting with Linux. For the normie user who doesn’t want to go through the install procedures. For the normie user who wants to plug and play. The Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition is the perfect device to get them started. That’s why this device gets an Editor’s Choice 2021.

80% Dell XPS 13 9310 (late 2020, Intel 11th gen) review: A steady improvement
Source: Expert Reviews English
The Dell XPS 13 has been put in the shade recently by Apple’s latest M1 machines, which offer faster performance and superior battery life for less money. But it’s not all bad news for Windows 10 fans and Intel is fighting back. Its 11th gen silicon is showing signs of progress and, as a result, the new Dell XPS 13 is a good notch better than its predecessor. That doesn’t change my overall takeaway that if you don’t mind which platform you operate on then you should switch to one of the new MacBooks. However, if you need to run Windows, the new Dell XPS 13 is a superb laptop on which to do so.

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 9310 review: Actual gaming chops in a tiny laptop
Source: Good Gear Guide English Archive.org version
Dell’s XPS 13 2-in-1 has long been the standard against which to judge all other Intel-based laptops, with its fit and finish, and its swing-for-the-fences performance. Add the credible gaming chops shown here, and there’s a good chance the XPS 13 2-in-1 will hold the bar for being the fastest 13-inch convertible laptop using the Core i7-1165G7 chip. The waters are admittedly murkier now with Ryzen and even competitive Apple offerings, so we’ll have to see if the XPS 13 can hold onto its leading position.

85% Dell XPS 13 2-In-1 (2020) Review: Speedy, Spectacular Convertible
Source: The Verge English Archive.org version
If you’re deciding whether to buy the XPS 13 or the XPS 13 2-in-1, the differences are simple — but they’re also significant and worth thinking about. The convertible form factor is the most obvious distinction, but I would argue it’s not the most important one (unless your job requires tablet use). You’ll be using the keyboard a lot, so you’ll want to figure out which one you prefer (if you’ve used MacBook butterfly keyboards and other MacBook keyboards, those are a rough approximation). You should also consider the sorts of tasks you’ll be putting your system through and whether a significant increase in graphics performance (especially with demanding games) is worth giving up a bit of battery life. And of course, there’s the price difference.

Dell XPS 13 2-In-1 Review: A Stylish Tiger Lake Convertible
Source: Hot Hardware English Archive.org version
Overall, we really liked the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. It has some serious performance and great looks. Dell's MagLev keyboard feels great to type on, and the system was very comfortable as a tablet as well. Battery life was excellent, and there's no shortage of biometric authentication options. Even though our review unit didn't have a UHD+ display, the 1200p display with its extra vertical real estate was a joy to look at and use. We suppose if more web pages scrolled horizontally, it wouldn't be as impressive, but on the web we're using wide screens, in an otherwise vertical world. Those extra pixels simply help to just get that extra little bit on the XPS 13 2-In-1's display. While the price might give some pause, Dell's in-home warranty, smaller footprint, premium materials and beautiful design compared to its direct competition help vault the new new XPS 13 2-In-1 into Editor's Choice territory with us.

Other major complaints I had haven't changed since April though. I still hate that Dell's fingerprint sensors require you to boot the machine before scanning your fingerprint, and I hate that there's no 4G LTE option. Seriously, this is an ultra-portable PC. Dell boasts that it's a 13-inch PC in an 11-inch chassis, so why wouldn't it be built to be more portable and have connectivity for such a use case?

One of the few reasons not to choose the XPS 13 is if you're seeking a robust gaming experience on the side. Intel's Iris Xe silicon is pretty good if you are willing to dial things back (this is not the integrated graphics of a year or two ago), but even so, the Nvidia GeForce GTX-equipped Blade Stealth 13 is likely a more prudent choice, at the minor expense of shorter battery life, a not-quite-as-sleek chassis, and an older-generation CPU. Otherwise, the XPS 13 is the cream of the crop, and retains our Editors' Choice award as 2020's best high-end ultraportable laptop to date.

So overall, the XPS 13 is still an excellent laptop. It’s still one of the best you can buy. But I’m not as starstruck as I was at the beginning of this year, because the competition is creeping up. Zenbooks, Swifts, Yogas, Envys, and Spectres have all made strides in design, build, nifty features, and performance this year — and there are ARM-based Macbooks on the way. There are quite a few releases on the horizon that are looking more and more like the XPS 13.

The Dell XPS 13 continues its reign as an ultraportable powerhouse. I mean, it was already bringing its A-game with a smaller frame, lack of bezels and large, comfortable keyboard. Now with one of Intel’s new Tiger Lake chips, the $1,649 laptop has a solid boost over last-gen systems. It remains to be seen how well the XPS 13 will hold up against similarly specced laptops in this component arms race.

The Dell XPS 13 (11th Gen) largely makes the best laptop around even better, bringing even better speed and better graphics performance in most situations. That’s coupled with the many subtle improvements Dell already made to the XPS 13 this year, including a truly bezel-less InfinityEdge display and an even more comfortable keyboard and touchpad.

A beautiful design, powerful performance, a gorgeous display –– there’s a reason the Dell XPS 13 remains a perennial favorite at Laptop Mag. The notebook gives consumers what they want in a system that performs as well as it looks. For $1,861, you get a lightweight beauty with a great super high-res display, comfortable keyboard and a pair of surprisingly loud speakers. Plus, you get the power of one of Intel’s powerful 11th Gen Core i7 processors and the company’s new Iris Xe Graphics GPU, which provides enough graphical oomph to play a solid array of games on lower settings at 1080p.

There are many SKUs of the XPS 13 model 9310, ranging from lowly, Core i3 CPUs to 4.8GHz i7 Intel processors. The range includes 4K touch screens and up to 2TB storage and prices start at $2,499. Our test unit is listed at $2,999 which is reasonable - but it's currently on sale for $2,399 which makes it more attractive. It's nonetheless worth checking out Dynabook's competitor at $2,099 which also doubles as a tablet.

Source: It Pro English Archive.org version
Everything about the latest XPS 13 feels top-shelf, from the slimline chassis to the stunning display. Taken in isolation, it would be a fantastic machine, but the disparity between Intel and AMD is simply too big to overlook. We’ll say it again: AMD-based laptops offer double the performance for half the price. While Dell and Intel have had a fruitful partnership for many years, it’s hard not to feel like it’s starting to hold Dell back. That doesn’t make the XPS 13 a bad laptop, it’s still virtually unrivalled in terms of build quality and overall appeal, but it does rob it of an award and makes us wonder what a Ryzen-powered XPS could do.

The New Dell XPS 13 2-In-1 Is As Powerful And Sleek As Ever
Source: Reviewed.com English Archive.org version
There’s a reason the Dell XPS 13 is so popular. Its portability is second to none, especially when paired with top-tier performance. If you don’t plan on typing long essays on it, it’s a fantastic machine that can go anywhere without a second thought, especially with its solid 9 hours of battery life. It’s easily one of the best MacBook Pro competitors (in a MacBook Air-size body) I’ve seen on the Windows side of things, with that level of sleek design.

87.4% Core i7-1165G7 vs. Core i7-1185G7: Dell XPS 13 9310 4K Laptop Review | Notebookcheck
Whereas older XPS 13 models had just one Core i7 option, the latest XPS 13 9310 has two: the Core i7-1165G7 or Core i7-1185G7. Let's see how much of a performance benefit the higher-end Core i7 option can bring to the table.
Dell XPS 13 9310 (2021) Review: Flagship Ultrabook Looks Fly, Is Expensive
Source: Tech2.in.com English
Dropping the fiction, the fact of the matter is the M1 MacBook Air exists, and it’s cheaper and better than Dell’s best. Configured with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage, the M1 Air is Rs 1.6 lakh to the XPS 13’s Rs 2.13 lakh. The Air runs cooler, and since it has no fan, noiselessly as well. The screen has a wider colour-gamut, better contrast and similar brightness. Battery life is better, and performance, thanks to that M1 chip, is in entry-level gaming laptop territory. Not only can you edit the most demanding 10-bit 4K footage directly, but the Air also comes with a more powerful GPU that’s better at running games than the XPS 13’s Iris Xe is. Even if you’re not a fan of the Apple ecosystem, you get devices with better configurations and a similar build for less than half the price. All you’re paying for here is brand value. If that’s worth Rs 2 lakh to you, go ahead and pick up an XPS 13. For everyone else, I’d recommend an M1 Air from Apple, a Yoga from Lenovo or the ASUS ZenBook 13 with an OLED display.

Dell XPS 13 9310 reviewed (& 2-in-1), 2021 Tiger Lake models – what to expect
Source: Ultrabook Review English
Ok, so based on these findings, I wouldn’t expect these Tiger Lake powered Dell XPS 9310 models to feel significantly different than their predecessors in daily use. Although the 11th-gen processors are able to run at higher-clocks, that’s hardly something that will impact your daily experience with these products, or have a significant impact on demanding loads that you might occasionally want to run. In fact, if that’s what you’re after, an AMD Ryzen powered configuration would be my recommendation instead, as those are significantly more capable in multi-threaded loads even in the basic Ryzen 5 variants. As for the choice between the two XPS 9310 models, I’d still go with the standard model for the matte screen option, the slightly nicer keyboard, and the more affordable price (especially if I can get it with a smaller SSD and upgrade it myself). At the same time, the 2-in-1 has its advantages with the form-factor and touchscreen, as well as the more capable thermal implementation, so it’s both of them are solid buys, just cater to slightly different needs.

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (2021) review: Still the flexible master?
Source: Pocket Lint English
This 2-in-1 has everything a great hybrid laptop needs: it’s light but well-made, it has one of the best non-4K screens going, and Intel’s new Xe GPU is even fit for some challenging games. Just make sure you're fine with a shallow, clicky keyboard before buying. Oh, and the 2-in-1 mechanism adds a significant premium too.

Source: Neowin English
As always, Dell's XPS 13 2-in-1, just like the rest of the XPS lineup, is a winner. It's so compact and portable and it focuses on a range of use cases. My two biggest complaints are the MagLev keyboard, which you should really try before you buy, and that there's no 4G LTE option. And as I mentioned earlier, it's hard to cut Dell a break on the MagLev keyboard since no other OEM has to do it like that.

Source: CNet English Archive.org version
Dell didn't do much to update the XPS 13 2-in-1, but then again it really didn't need to. It was already a great convertible laptop and now it has better performance and battery life than its predecessor. The one other small change -- the addition of an IR camera -- adds to the appeal since it means you can sign with face recognition when the fingerprint reader is inaccessible in stand or tablet modes. Just make sure you get all the storage and memory you need up front.

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9310)
Source: PC Mag English Archive.org version
A few generations ago, the XPS 13 was nearly flawless, earning a five-star review. Both the 2-in-1 and the clamshell versions remain exceptional, offering class-leading performance and battery life in a sleek, compact, and sturdy chassis. But competitors have closed the gap significantly, even with models that cost less. This is especially true when it comes to performance, as is clear from the Ryzen-equipped Envy x360 13. The Dell's shallow key travel is also more of an issue than it once was, now that Apple has implemented a more comfortable keyboard design in its MacBook lineup.

Dell XPS 13 9310 (2-in-1) review – prepare for disappointment

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9310) review: One of the best Windows 10 convertibles, ever
Source: On MSFT English
If you're considering the XPS 13 2-in-1, I have one word of advice for you — buy it now. Although the keyboard on this XPS might not be for everyone, the fantastic display, as well as the overall system performance make it a great buy. It's rare to see a Windows 10 convertible with such a bright 16:10 aspect ratio display panel, not to mention slim bezels and a nearly all-screen design. For that, the XPS lineup is untouchable. You can buy the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9310) directly from Dell today here.

Review: Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9301)
Source: Hexus English
Fast and responsive everyday performance is assured, battery life is good enough to get through the day with plenty left in reserve, and if you happen to appreciate a convertible, Dell's well-engineered hinges coupled with a taller display help the XPS 13 2-in-1 function as a versatile jack-of-all-trades. There are caveats, mind you. A system as thin as this is naturally susceptible to fan noise and a shortage of I/O, and our biggest gripe is the shallow keyboard, which is nowhere near as satisfying as the rest of the laptop.

How to choose between the Dell XPS 13 OLED and the Asus ZenBook 13 OLED
Source: The Verge English
So if price is no object, you still need to consider: is power or battery life more important to you? Given that the ZenBook’s options can do just fine with most of the tasks that most people need, my conclusion is that only people with pretty specific workflows who don’t need to move around that much are better off with the XPS. As I noted in my review, “If you’re someone for whom the OLED is worth the price, you probably know who you are.”

The big question then is if the OLED screen is worthwhile. It depends. If you want better battery life, stick with the full-HD models of the 2021 XPS. You are also then afforded more customizability when choosing RAM, storage, and processors. With the OLED, you are forced to get the Core i7 model, 16 or 32 GB of RAM, and Iris Xe graphics, which is overkill for most people, not to mention the high $1,600 price tag. On the other hand, going back to my 4K screen after the OLED is, well, a little dim and washed out. I think I can live with the shorter battery life.

The Dell XPS 13 is a pristine device with the kind of elegance that demands a heavy price tag. There’s a lot to like about the laptop, especially its portability and lightness along with the thin chassis that allows it to slide easily inside a backpack. However, the lack of ports and overall average thermal management doesn’t allow for a lot of intensive work. The display is one of the finest in the segment, but one still wonders if the asking price is worth it. Buy the Dell XPS 13 if you covet a super sleek design, and are allured by its gorgeous 4K OLED panel.

100% Dell XPS 13 9310 OLED laptop review: the best just got better
Source: T3 English
There are a lot of alternatives to the XPS 13. Probably the foremost option is the Apple Macbook Pro, which was recently upgraded with the M1 processor. A comparable 13-inch Macbook Pro will cost you about $1,499 but doesn’t offer an OLED screen, and only comes with 8GB of memory: adding an extra 8GB increases the price by $200. If you really want the OLED screen, the HP Spectre X360 features a 14-inch 3k OLED as well as an 11th gen i7 processor for similar money to the Dell XPS. The Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen 3 15-inch also has the option to upgrade to an OLED screen, though it only offers 10th generation processors and costs considerably more than the XPS 13 for an equivalent spec. It does manage to squeeze in a few more connections, though, with a USB 3.1 port and an HDMI output.

Dell’S Xps 13 Uses Oled To Defend Its Crown For Another Year
Source: Reviewed.com English
The Dell XPS 13 is the best 13-inch Windows ultraportable available today, just as it was the best 13-inch Windows laptop every year since its 2015 redesign. It’s a gorgeous machine with meticulous attention to detail that justifies the laptop’s high price. The optional OLED display is an expensive $400 upgrade that performs exceptionally well by every metric, from brightness to color accuracy and, of course, contrast. You’ll notice its perks not only in movies and games but also when flipping through photos or streaming YouTube. There are a few downsides. USB-A and Ethernet ports aren’t available, so you’ll have to pack an adapter. The laptop also runs rather warm. However, these problems aren’t unique to the XPS 13. Most of Dell’s competitors share these issues, but Apple’s MacBook Pro 13 is the best reason to skip the Dell XPS 13. It outperforms the Dell, as it does any Windows laptop of similar size, yet also has better battery life.

90% Dell XPS 13 OLED review
Source: Tom's Guide English
The Dell XPS 13 has been one of our favorite Windows laptops for years, and the addition of a 3.5K OLED screen only enhances the appeal. Paying an extra couple hundred bucks for it might not be worthwhile if you don’t tend to get hung up about image quality, but given that one of the Dell XPS 13’s big attractions is its beautiful, nigh-borderless InfinityEdge display, paying more to slap an OLED in there is a worthwhile addition. If you want something a little bigger and more performant for roughly the same price, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 is also a good choice. It has a 1080p AMOLED touchscreen that looks almost as good as the XPS 13’s OLED, with slightly better performance and much better battery life. However, it’s also a larger, heavier 2-in-1 that comes with a lot of Samsung bloatware installed. And of course, if you’re open to using a Mac, the M1-equipped MacBooks offer much better battery life than just about any Windows laptop on the market.

Dell XPS 13 9310 review: OLED makes this laptop even sweeter
Source: XDA Developers English
With the Dell XPS 13 line, the laptops just keep getting better and better; in fact, each model is consistently Dell’s best laptop. It started out with a redesign that was announced at CES 2020, and that added the 16:10 display. The Intel Tiger Lake refresh later that year added a lot of power, and now, the OLED model is here. There’s not much I can say that’s bad about this laptop. The webcam is definitely subpar, but that’s to be expected given the small amount of room there is. It also still frustrates me that Dell doesn’t offer cellular connectivity in its consumer laptops. And finally, this company really needs to start scanning fingerprints when you press the button; everyone else has moved beyond this.

Dell XPS 13 OLED review: more pixels, more money
Source: The Verge English
For that reason, I would still recommend that most people go for the FHD XPS 13 over the OLED model. Five hours is not great battery life, but it’s especially not great for an ultraportable laptop this close to the $2,000 mark. It’s certainly a dealbreaker for me, even if everything else about a laptop is perfect. It means I’d have to have this thing plugged in multiple times a day, even though one of its primary benefits is supposed to be that it’s light enough to carry around wherever. I want. Meanwhile, as nice as the OLED screen is, I can’t imagine it’ll make a huge quality-of-life difference to all but the most discerning of viewers. It certainly shouldn’t be a big enough difference to outweigh a $300 premium and a four-hour hit to battery life. If you’re someone for whom the OLED is worth the price, you probably know who you are.

Dell XPS 13 9310 review: The Intel 11th-gen eye-candy
Source: The Times of India English
Dell XPS 13 with Intel 11th-gen processor is a really good update in terms of performance over the predecessor. The startup time from sleep mode and swift handling of apps, all perform really well. The 4K display is good to look at as well. And all of this comes in a compact and premium-looking body. However, the battery performance is not the best and it keeps us from calling it a travel-friendly device.

90% Dell XPS 13 OLED (9310)
Source: PC Mag English
If it had an HDMI port, the Dell XPS 13 OLED would score a perfect five-star review. Even without one, it's a cinch to earn an Editors' Choice award among OLED laptops, and among ultraportables that simply sing when you look at them. We've said before that the extra ports, slightly nicer keyboard, and slightly lighter weight of its archrival the ThinkPad X1 Carbon make us lean toward the Lenovo for productivity work, but the Dell's spectacular new screen tips the scale if dazzling panel quality is what matters most. There are now two best laptops in the world.

OLED Dell XPS 13 9310 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the new 2021 OLED display option on the Dell XPS 13 9310. The 3.5K resolution OLED display joins the existing IPS 4K and full HD options, and it has the same 13.4” display size with 16:10 aspect ratio. As expected, the display has superb contrast and deep blacks, though glare can affect perceived black levels. We look at display metrics and battery life impact compared to the other XPS 13 display options.

Dell XPS 13 9310 (OLED) review: The perfect laptop gets better with a vibrant display
Source: On MSFT English
If you're into light photo or video editing, or just really love watching movies and streaming content on your laptop, then this XPS 13 with OLED is a must-buy for you. There will be some sacrifices when it comes to battery life, but it will be overall worth it for you. This laptop punches out some incredible-looking images and videos that will feel quite immersive thanks to the near bezel-less design. The $400 upcost also means that you'll get more pixels, too, which not everyone might need, but this is one beautiful laptop to look at.

90% Dell XPS 13 (OLED) review
Source: Laptop Mag English
The latest XPS 13 model debuts a gorgeous OLED panel that provides rich picture quality for when you're streaming movies at home or editing videos for work. Is it worth the tradeoff to battery life? If you need a high-res display, then yes. The 3.5K OLED display outlasted the 4K IPS config in our battery test and is capable of producing a wider range of colors. And since it costs the same ($1,649 to start), there is no reason to buy the non-OLED 4K model (unless you really need those few extra pixels).

Dell XPS 13 9310 review – they have never been so far behind Apple
Source: Laptop Media English
Well, there was a time, back in the day, when Dell revealed an XPS 13, and the crowd went “wow”. These times are no more. Last year, the manufacturer was bold enough to make an overhaul to the design, which included a significantly smaller footprint, a great screen-to-body ratio, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Today, this seems to be unchanged. For better or for worse, you are getting what Dell designed a year ago. Although from an aesthetics perspective, this is not bad at all, things change when you look at the numbers.
