Decathlon launches new mid-range wide deck e-scooter

The Decathlon Btwin LD900E electric scooter has been released in Europe. This is the latest e-scooter from the brand, with features like dual suspension, larger wheels and a wider deck for increased ride comfort.
Decathlon’s Btwin LD900E is powered by a 500W brushless motor with 800W peak power. It is said to be able to tackle gradients up to 20%, and reaches a maximum speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). The accompanying 520 Wh (10.4 Ah) battery should allow you to ride for around 35 km (~21.7 miles) in Sports mode, or 55 km (~34.2 miles) in Eco mode. The power pack can be fully recharged in around six hours.
The Btwin LD900E has two types of brakes, a front drum brake and a rear motor brake, and 10” puncture-resistant tubeless tires. Accessories include a 4W headlight, a brake light, indicator lights and a built-in stand. Plus, there is a digital display mounted to the handlebars. This is a foldable model with a metal frame, weighing 23 kg (~50.7 lbs)
You can now buy the Decathlon Btwin LD900E electric scooter in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and France for €499.99. It is also available in the UK, where it retails for £449.99.
