DJI Osmo Pocket 4 rival to come with Vivo X300 Ultra camera

This isn't the first time we've heard about a Vivo Pocket camera, but the details are a little more concrete this time around. Digital Chat Station, a highly regarded leaker in China, recently posted initial specs on Weibo for what could be a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 alternative. These specs make perfect sense, as it appears that some of the Vivo X300 Ultra's camera hardware will be incorporated into the gimbal-equipped mini-camera, potentially named the Vivo Pocket.
According to the leaker, Vivo is using the same 200 MP sensor in current test units as in the Vivo X300 Ultra, specifically the Sony LYT-901, which is paired with a 35mm lens in Vivo's current flagship camera. While this would give the Vivo mini-camera very powerful sensor hardware, competitors like DJI and Insta360 use a slightly larger 1-inch sensor, while the LYT-901 is a bit smaller at 1/1.1 inches.
Neither the Osmo Pocket 4 nor the Insta360 Luna Ultra have 200 MP, so Vivo and Zeiss may have an edge here, especially with crop zoom. The leaker hasn't commented on other specs yet, but the chipset is said to be "not bad", and the launch is apparently scheduled for late this year, at least in China. Other smartphone manufacturers are also expected to jump on the gimbal camera bandwagon soon, such as Oppo.
