Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 is the most significant update for the game yet with over 33 GB of fixes, changes and improvements
Two days ago, CD Projekt Red (CDPR) teased Patch 1.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, the first major patch for the game since March. CDPR released Hotfix 1.22 and Patch 1.23 in the interim, but there have been no developments since June. Patch 1.3 is available to download now consoles, PC and Stadia versions of the game. Please note that Patch 1.3 requires 55 GB of temporary working space to download and install on PC. The download size appears to be closer to 34 GB, though.
Patch 1.3 is the first update for Cyberpunk 2077 that includes 'free DLCs', along with numerous bug fixes and changes. According to the patch notes, CDPR has added Johnny Silverhand's Alternative Appearance, a Multilayered Syn-Leather Deltajock Jacket, a Luminescent Punk Jacket and an Archer Quartz 'Bandit' - minor additional content indeed.
Fortunately, Patch 1.3 also includes some quality of life improvements for Cyberpunk 2077. For example, CDPR has zoomed out the game's minimap when driving, which was always too close in our opinion. Additionally, the company has added a button for reallocating Perk points, a useful change that no longer locks character development. Moreover, NPCs will no longer crouch in reaction to a gunshot, and they should now run away from all combat scenes.
In short, Patch 1.3 is the biggest update for Cyberpunk 2077 so far. Roughly, the patch includes over 500 changes, including numerous quest-specific bug fixes. CDPR promises that Patch 1.3 contains many more changes than it has included in its patch notes, so we imagine that others will come to the surface eventually. You can read through all of CDPR's changes in its latest forum post.
