Citizen just announced that it will expand its Tsuyosa collection later in Autumn 2025 with three new mechanical watches. The line, whose name derives from the Japanese word for "strength," has become very popular over the years for its versatile and colorful designs.
The upcoming models - reference numbers NK0020-55E (black dial), NK0024-54X (dark green dial), and NK0023-57L (ash blue dial) - still feature the classic Tsuyosa aesthetic, but they come with fresh variations. Each watch is housed in a 40mm stainless-steel case with sapphire glass and a transparent case back, which will let buyers see the Caliber 8310 movement inside.
This movement supports both automatic and manual winding and delivers a continuous running time of approximately 60 hours when fully wound. It also features stop-seconds functionality, luminous hands and indices, and water resistance up to 5 BAR. The bracelet is constructed with finely brushed links and a butterfly clasp. Each dial has geometric patterns that draw from Art Deco influences, paired with applied indices and a magnifier above the date window at three o’clock. The crown is present at four o’clock.
Prices are projected to range from $515 for the black-dial model, $550 for the green, and $590 for the ash blue variant.
