Casio reveals new rainbow glass watch as part of XG collection

Casio has announced a new collaboration with XG. The Japanese watchmaker has worked with the “X-pop” band to create two G-Shock watches, which will be released in various markets worldwide. Both models feature the XG logo on the dial, strap and case back.
The Casio G-Shock GMA-S110XG-4A is a bright pink analog-digital watch. It has various shimmering elements across its face, and a 90s inspired marble effect resin casing and strap. Plus, the polarized dial is said to subtly change color when you move your wrist. Features of this hybrid model include support for world time, a 1/1000th second stopwatch and five daily alarms. Plus, it is shock resistant, magnetic resistant and water resistant to 200 m.
Casio’s G-Shock GM-S5600XG-1 has a striking rainbow deposition glass, with a contrasting black resin casing and strap. At its center is a rectangular digital display with a black background. The GM-S5600 also offers a stopwatch, though with 1/100th second precision, as well as a timer and a multifunctional alarm. Plus, it has the same 200 m water resistance as the GMA-S110.
In Japan, the Casio G-Shock x XG collection will be released on June 12th. The GMA-S110XG-4A will retail for ¥25,300 (~$159), while the GM-S5600XG-1 is more expensive at ¥36,300 (~$228). It is unclear when these models will be released in other markets, and at what price.
