Casio is allegedly dropping two blacked-out CasiOaks in June - here are the first leaked images

Two new black IP-coated GM-2100 references have surfaced through Instagram leaker @geesgshock, likely for a June 2026 release. The models — GM-2100LXB-1A and GM-2100LXB-1A9 — are variants of the popular CasiOak platform. They can be distinguished primarily by their finish and dial treatment. Please note that Casio has not made an official announcement as of writing.
Both watches have the familiar octagonal metal bezel form factor of the GM-2100 line, fitted here with a ribbed, textured resin strap in place of the standard smooth band. The GM-2100LXB-1A is a pure monochromatic execution — all-black case, dial, hands, and indices with no accent color. The GM-2100LXB-1A9 introduces gold-tone accents on the inner dial ring, hour markers, hands, and digital display text, sitting against the same blacked-out case.
The LXB suffix has led the leaker to speculate these may be marketed as a "Luxury Black Series," just like the GA-2100LXB and GM-2100LXB codes that surfaced in an Asian retailer database earlier this month. This connection actually adds credibility to both leaks.
The post also sparked a debate within the community around the metal-covered CasiOak lineup's pricing. @geesgshock adds that Casio recently moved metal-covered models under the G-Steel name, and this rebranding can "dilute" the G-Steel identity. He further argues that the premium charged for a metal bezel over the base resin model is difficult to justify, especially because of the existence of a healthy third-party aftermarket bezel market, which is why Casio will likely mark these references up.
No pricing for the GM-2100LXB-1A or 1A9 has been indicated. In the meantime, you can check out the Casio GA-2100-1A on Amazon.
