Leaked: Casio G-Shock GA-2100LXB and GM-2100LXB series spotted in Asian retailer database

New model codes hinting towards a luxury-oriented expansion of Casio's popular CasiOak lineup have surfaced in an Asian watch retailer database, courtesy of Great G-Shock World. The entries reference a GA-2100LXB series alongside a metal-case GM-2100LXB variant. This could only mean that Casio is readying a new luxury-accented sub-series within the 2100 family. Please note that Casio has not made any official announcement.
The LXB suffix is understood to denote a luxury design direction, though no product images have surfaced alongside the database entries. The underlying case design is expected to keep the familiar octagonal CasiOak form factor, with both resin and metal configurations possible, thanks to the simultaneous appearance of GA-2100LXB and GM-2100LXB codes.
This timing could likely have something to do with Casio's most recent financial results, in which the GA-2100 platform was confirmed as the central pillar of G-Shock sales in both resin and metal configurations. The GA-2100 launched in 2019 and has since reached classic status within the lineup, with its octagonal bezel earning it the CasiOak nickname among fans and enthusiasts. The GM-2100 variant uses that same foundation − a forged stainless steel bezel finished with a round hairline on the top surface and mirror polish on the sides.
Since both these model codes (GA-2100LXB and GM-2100LXB) appeared simultaneously, we can assume Casio intends to release these watches concurrently, just like how prior 2100 expansions have been handled. No pricing or release window has been indicated in the database entries.
