Well-known manufacturer Beelink has just teased a new mini PC in the form of a general announcement, but test devices are reportedly already in circulation. Accordingly, information on the technical data is also available. The EQ13 is equipped with an Intel N200, which in the absence of a fan is passively cooled. In principle, passive cooling has several advantages, such as silent operation, provided that coil whine and noise from hard disks are not present. Furthermore, there is less danger of dust ingress, as fans usually suck dust inside the case.
The Intel N200 is not an very powerful processor, but it should provide adequate performance for many typical usage scenarios, such as text editing or web browsing. The Beelink EQ13 is also suitable as a media playback system and thus as a player for a television. A wireless module is on board, which supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5. Multiple screens can be connected, with two HDMI 2.0 ports available. There is also one USB-C, three USB-A ports and the typical jack socket. The power supply unit is integrated into the housing.
According to as yet unconfirmed reports, the Beelink EQ13 will go on sale at the end of June. Information on price is not yet available, but other mini PCs with a similar configuration are already available via Amazon.
