Aukey's latest power bank is also a phone stand
Power banks are convenient and sometimes even vital mobile-life amenities to have around. However, they do often come with the slight drawback of also needing to have a (potentially tangled or messy) USB cable handy. Aukey has taken this issue into account in designing its new Basix Pro Wireless product.
This power bank not only supports phones with wireless charging, but also makes sure the device in question stays on the target of its pad with a stand attachment. Furthermore, its embedded kick-stand means the user can enjoy some content during charging without the strain of holding either their device or the Basix Pro up in the process.
The new accessory delivers its wireless charging feature at a standard rate of 10 watts (W). However, it also features a USB type C port, which is compatible with the Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery (USB-PD), thus using its 10000mAh capacity to charge a mobile device at up to 18W.
Therefore, the Basix Pro Wireless cannot be said to feature fancy state-of-the-art specs such as gallium nitride (GaN) internals. Nevertheless, it does solve some problems relatiing to detriments in user ergonomics and comfort while using a power bank. This new answer to these questions is available on Amazon for US$39.99 from now.
