An unspecified "6th Gen Intel Core processor" is listed on the N552VX's specs sheet.

Although Intel has just unveiled new Broadwell processors and several laptop manufacturers subsequently announced Broadwell-powered products, Asus already has something more interesting prepared. Among various Asus laptops on display at Computex, we've spotted the new N552VX, which, according to its specs sheet, contains a "6th Gen Intel Core processor". This corresponds with Intel's official statement confirming that Skylake processors are due for release already later this year. Up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz will be installed: Skylake memory controller will be compatible with this new RAM type.

Being part of Asus' multimedia-oriented N-series, the N552VX focuses on image and sound quality above everything else. Buyers will be able to choose either an Ultra HD or a Full HD display, with both options using an IPS panel. SonicMaster technology is listed, meaning that the laptop is equipped with quality speakers similar to those installed in its predecessor, the N551JK. Unfortunately, the two laptops also share the same chassis, which we've found to be inferior to the impressive all-metal case used by the N550JK. The graphics card remains unchanged as well: it's the Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M with 2 or 4 GB of DDR3 VRAM.

Storage options will include SATA 2.5" drives (HDD or SSD) and M.2 2280 SSDs, including PCIe drives. The laptop will run Windows 10 out of the box. Pricing and release date are unknown at this point, but most likely the N552VX will be priced similar to existing N551 models and should be available before the end of this year.
