This Ryzen 7 + 3050Ti 14-inch VivoBook Pro 14X M7400 is a competitive performance ultraportable in the mid-priced segment, able to efficiently handle daily chores, demanding workloads, and even gaming, to some extent. Its primary selling point is, however, that awesome 2.8K 16:10 OLED screen that Asus puts on this series, as otherwise, there are more powerful 14-inch options that you can find within the same budget right now, with lesser-quality IPS screens. Just make sure you understand the particularities of OLED laptop screens before taking the plunge here.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
