Reviews for the Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 G634JYR, RTX 4080
Source: Laptop Media

In short, the 16-inch ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 G634 offers the same performance as the big and heavy SCAR 18 G834. The CPU and the GPU can maintain the same clock as the bigger sibling, even the noise levels under load are similar to the 18-incher. This is great news because thanks to the large 3-fan cooling, the noise under full system loads in “Turbo” mode is more than acceptable considering the high-end internals. The “Performance” preset is the secret weapon of this ASUS gadget due to the 160W GPU TGP combined with tamed fan RPM levels.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.

75%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
