Asus has announced that it will be unveiling the ROG Phone in India on November 29. The ROG Phone was announced at Computex 2018 and boasted gamer-focused features such as a 3D vapor chamber design, overclocked Snapdragon 845 SoC, and a whole lot more.

The Asus ROG Phone was announced at Computex 2018 back in June and it has taken quite some time to reach markets worldwide. The phone was launched in the US just a month ago and has also made its way to Europe. Now, Asus has announced that the phone will be officially launched in India on November 29.

Apart from a poster that says 'Coming to India', Asus hasn't specified much details. In all probability, the company will launch with the ROG Phone in partnership with Flipkart like it did with the ZenFone 5Z and the ZenFone Lite (L1). Pricing is unknown at the moment but the European variant is priced at €899 or approximately, ₹73,000. That price, of course, does not include the cost of accessories.

The ROG Phone boasts of a lot of features to attract the mobile gaming crowd. These include an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC running at 2.96 GHz and a 3D vapor chamber to keep temperatures under control for sustained gaming. This is paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 of internal storage. The phone features a 6-inch AMOLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. Customizable 'ultrasonic AirTriggers', a 4,000 mAh battery, and 2 USB Type-C ports round off the specs. Of course, there are a host of accessories to choose from such as the TwinView Dock or the Mobile Desktop Dock.

Other gamer-focused phones such as the Razer Phone 2 or the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 are yet to officially announce an Indian release date so Asus does have an advantage in launching the ROG Phone much ahead of the competition.
