Model:
The Asus R752LD-TY057 is an everyday laptop with a big screen. The 17 inch 1600 x 900 glossy display certainly provides plenty screen real-estate to work with. This is not a small setup but surprisingly it isn't as heavy as one might think. Weighing in at just 2.7 kg, and with a rather sleek exterior, the majority of the dimensions is to accommodate the screen.
The processor is an Intel Core i3-4010U dual core clocked at 1.7 GHz and it offers the integrated HD Graphics 4400 GPU. There is a dedicated GPU in the form of an Nvidia GeForce 820M; even though an entry level chip, it will make casual gamers happy. The Asus R752LD-TY057 comes with 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM and an 500 GB hard drive. The entire setup is encased in either a grey or black chassis.
There is also the convenience of a full-sized island styled keyboard and large touchpad. Audio quality from the stereo speakers is good and another notable feature is the decent cooling system. On the other hand, the battery capacity could have been improved on. Overall the Asus R752LD-TY057 is a decent budget setup for users looking to max out on screen size.
NVIDIA GeForce 820M:
Entry level 28nm Fermi GPU from the GeForce 800M series based on the GT 620M and 710M.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
