Apple launched the iPhone 13 line alongside assurances that it would ship all of its variants on the same day in September 2021. Now, it has emerged that this is no longer the case. The delay affects the Pro and Pro Max only, and applies to their larger storage SKUs.

Apple has already opened pre-orders for the new successor to the iPhone 12 line, and had projected that all of its new SKUs, the new 1TB option in the Pros included, would ship on the same day: September 24, 2021. Now, many customers have reportedly found that some higher-end SKUs have fallen behind on this schedule.

Those who try to order the iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max may find that their new devices may now not reach them until October 2021. This applies to the new Pro variant in all its colorways (Silver, Gold, Graphite and the new Sierra Blue) - but only if the 1TB storage button is selected. It also affects the Silver and Graphite models with 512GB of internal storage.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max may also see this delay - unless the user wants a 256GB storage SKU in Gold, that is. Otherwise, consumers with their heart set on the latest top-end iPhone in their favorite color and thought they could get their hands on it 5 days from today are out of luck. These SKUs are now not projected to ship until October 6 to 11, 2021. Hopefully, this will not delay our reviews too much.

Alternatively, the iPhone 12 series is in stock on Amazon.
