Apple is supposedly working on an Apple Watch Pro. The new Watch Pro is rumored to be larger and considerably more expensive than the regular lineup. Famed Apple insider Mark Gurman has now revealed more information about the new Watch Pro including battery life and design.

Renowned Apple insider Mark Gurman has shared a lot about Apple’s upcoming Watch lineup. First rumored as Apple Watch Extreme, Gurman has previously reported that the Apple Watch Pro will boast a bigger 2-inch display and an overall sturdier design. In his latest Sunday newsletter Power On, Gurman doubles down on his previous assertions and states a few other things.

Gurman believes that Apple Watch Pro will last for multiple days on a single charge thanks to a low power mode on top of the significantly bigger battery as rumored earlier. Consequently, the Watch Pro’s battery life will supposedly be better than the current Apple Watch Series 7.

However, Gurman expects the size of the Apple Watch Pro to increase considerably compared to the current lineup. He warns that this “might only appeal to a subset of customers”.

PhoneArena suspects that the Apple Watch Pro may boast the first redesign since Watch Series 4 and employ titanium for added durability. But, unlike earlier leaks, the Pro model allegedly won’t have flat sides.

Apple is reportedly launching the Watch Pro with the iPhone 14 series in September. So, we’ll see how well the reports from Mark Gurman turn out.
