Aoostar has introduced a brand-new configuration for the Maco mini PC, which was initially introduced in March 2025. The newer option is more affordable than the two the brand has previously launched, but it also comes with an older processor.
To be specific, the new configuration for the Aoostar Maco has the AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H. It's a Zen 3+ CPU from the Rembrandt line, and it features the Radeon 680M iGPU. This integrated GPU is capable of handling a handful of games at the 1080p resolution with the visual settings dialed to the low or medium presets.
For those who want a bit more GPU power, the good part is that the new config of Aoostar Maco retains the OCuLink port. This brings high-performance eGPU support, and the system also has two USB4 ports, which further expand external GPU compatibility (GMKtec AD-GP1 curr. $499.99 on Amazon).
As for the other ports, they are the same as the other configurations, including:
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 2x 2.5G Ethernet
- 1x HDMI
- 1x DisplayPort
The Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H configuration of the Aoostar Maco comes with 24 GB of RAM, and it seems that there aren't any other options available. Users will have the option to equip the system with NVMe storage through the two M.2 PCIe slots, which should have a max support of 16 TB, like the other configs.
Regarding the price, the new configuration of the Maco launched in China with a price tag of CNY 1,977, about $278. Aoostar hasn't yet shared when this affordable config of the mini PC will make a global debut.
