Deal | Anker’s new Prime 3-port GaN charger with 160 W power output drops to lowest-ever price on Amazon

Last month, Anker unveiled the Prime 160 W USB-C GaN charger. Now, Anker’s high-speed charger is currently available at a 27% discount, thanks to the ongoing Amazon Prime sale. This means interested buyers can buy the charger for $109.99 rather than its original list price of $149.99. The current deal marks the all-time low price for this model since its release.

The Anker Anker Prime charger has a total of three USB-C ports and offers a maximum power output of 160 W. As far as the power allocation is concerned, the charger offers up to 140 W of power when used alone. In three-port mode, it offers two modes for charging three devices simultaneously. For example, the first mode allows you to charge the devices at 100 W, 30 W, and 30 W outputs, while the second mode offers 70 W, 70 W, and 20 W power allocation. Interestingly, you can choose the mode depending on your need via the Anker smartphone app. On top of that, you can also adjust the charger’s settings, like brightness and screen rotation, via the companion app. 

Anker claims that the charger can charge a MacBook Pro 16 from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes. The accessory is undoubtedly compact, measuring 2.56 x 2.05 x 1.38 inches (65 x 52 x 35 mm)—and Anker describes it as an AirPods-sized charger. However, the charger is slightly on the heavier side, weighing around 220 grams (7.76 oz). Plus, it has a foldable prong design, making it more compact and travel-friendly.
