An offer you can't resist: PlayStation Store leaks pricing and release date for Mafia Trilogy-Mafia I remaster set to arrive on August 28th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
Thanks to listings on the Australian PlayStation Store, which were quickly removed, we now have details about pricing and availability for 2K Games' Mafia Trilogy.
According to the PlayStation Store, Mafia II: Definitive Edition will sell for the equivalent of US$30, as will Mafia III: Definitive Edition. The Mafia I remake, a grounds-up reimaging of The City of Lost Heaven, will arrive as part of the Mafia Trilogy with all three games for US$60 on August 28th.
Mafia III: Definitive Edition doesn't add much to the package. You're getting the latest version of the game (important, considering the performance issues at launch), as well as access to all its DLC.
Mafia II: Definitive Edition goes a step further. Gameplay of the PlayStation 4 Pro version indicates that we're looking at minor touchups to texture work and shadowing, as well as higher quality pre-rendered footage. The lavish Mafia I remaster brings the most substantial changes but, unfortunately, will only be available on August 28th.
