Model:
The Alcatel One Touch Fire is the very first smartphone on the market to run the all new Firefox OS. At first glimpse, this is a tiny device, measuring just 3.5 inches, and covered with smooth, shining orange plastic. The main selling point of this budget device, would be the new operating system, which is an open-source system built to run apps built using HTML 5. This means that apps that run on this phone, will also run on the web. One obvious downside will be that the current app selection will be dwarfed by the options found for Android, Apple or Windows devices. But this should change over time, a few recognizable games and apps are already available for the Firefox OS.
Simplicity was one of the aims of the design, so users should find no problem adopting this new OS. As should be expected for a phone of this size and budget, this tiny smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and 256 MB of RAM. This may sound like a minuscule amount, but with a lightweight OS, this should not pose any problems. Demanding apps may run into trouble. The Alcatel One Touch Fire is equipped with a 3.2 MP camera, which is just about functional for today’s standards. There is a micro SD slot, which allows expanding the storage by up to 32 GB. Overall, this is a cute little phone that will fit nicely within a budget, as long as users are willing to take on the new Firefox OS.

3.50":
This is one of the smallest diagonal for smartphones.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
Alcatel:
The former French manufacturer of telecommunication equipment merged to Alcatel-Lucent in 2006. Several business segments were sold to other companies, so the Alcatel brand is now used by various companies. The Chinese company TCL uses the brand names "Alcatel One Touch" and "Alcatel Idol" for smartphones and tablets.
The market share in the smartphone + tablet segment is very small, but there are quite some recent reviews in different languages. The ratings are average (as of 2016).
76%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
