Reviews for the Alcatel 1 2021

40% Alcatel 1 Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English
It feels a little weird steering people away from one of the cheapest phones on the market, especially in these financially challenging times. But while the Alcatel 1 (2021) is incredibly cheap, it is not one of the best cheap phones. The phone’s strangled performance, alarming battery life under load, and flat-out terrible 5-inch display renders it borderline unusable for all but the very lightest of tasks. Web browsing, gaming, and media playback are all badly hamstrung, while the camera fails to produce acceptable results in pretty much any lighting conditions. If you absolutely can’t spend more than £40 on a phone, and only need a handset for the lightest and most occasional of tasks, you could make a case for buying the Alcatel 1 (2021). Otherwise, we’d implore you to save a little extra, spend a little more, and achieve a bare minimum of all-round usability.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

Alcatel:

Alcatel is a French telecommunications company originally founded in 1898. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of cell phones, fixed-line phones, networking and communications solutions, and other telecommunications products. Alcatel is headquartered in Paris, France, and operates worldwide.

The telecommunications equipment manufacturer merged in 2006 to form Alcatel-Lucent. Various business units were sold to other companies, so the Alcatel brand name is used by different companies nowadays. The brand names "Alcatel One Touch" and "Alcatel Idol" are used by the Chinese company TCL for smartphones and tablets.

40%: This rating is bad and very rare. There are only a few models that are rated so poorly. If the source is reputable, then a purchase is probably not advisable.
