After a long time, HTC announced the Wildfire E Plus smartphone in October 2022, the expected price of this phone is $130 (Rs 10,699 in India) approx. As for the primary specs, let’s start with the display that renders a 6.52-inches IPS LCD panel. Besides this, the front panel offers a 5MP lens for selfies. As for the primary camera module, the phone provides a dual rear camera including a 13MP main and a 5MP lens. The HTC Wildfire E Plus smartphone is available with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while a dedicated microSDXC card slot is also available. Performance on the phone is handled by the 28nm MediaTek MT6739 chipset integrated with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. The Phone runs on the latest Android 12 (Go edition) OS. Connectivity options on the Wildfire E Plus include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a mobile hotspot, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The fingerprint scanner is missing on this smartphone. Speaking of the battery life, the phone equips a Li-Po 5150 mAh battery without any fast charging support. The smartphone is available in a single Black color option.

Imagination PowerVR GE8100: Integrated graphics card for entry level ARM SoCs. Smallest variant of the Series8XE series of GPUs (GE8xx0) with a peak fillrate of only one pixel/clock.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.
