The Alcatel A30 Plus is an inexpensive Amazon-exclusive phone with a big, bright screen and good network connectivity, but its performance leaves something to be desired.

The A30 Plus isn't offensively flawed in any way, but when the competition is pushing more value across the board, it becomes much harder to recommend this phone. For the same price as the unlocked A30 Plus, you can have the Moto E4, which we prefer for its fingerprint sensor, more vibrant display, better software experience and tasteful design.

CommentQualcomm Adreno 308: Integrated mid-range graphics card in the Snapdragon 425 SoCs that supports OpenGL ES 3.0 and features unified shaders.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

This display is quite big for a smartphone but frequently used for smartphones.

Several business segments were sold to other companies, so the Alcatel brand is now used by various companies. The Chinese company TCL uses the brand names "Alcatel One Touch" and "Alcatel Idol" for smartphones and tablets.
The market share in the smartphone + tablet segment is very small, but there are quite some recent reviews in different languages. The ratings are average (as of 2016).
