Affordable GMK M3 Pro mini PC debuts with Intel CPU and launch discounts

GMKtec has introduced a new affordable mini PC, but it's not powered by a modern CPU. Instead, for the NucBox M3 Pro, the company chose the Intel Core i5 13500H, a mid-range processor from the Raptor Lake-H series.
While it's a dated CPU, this Intel processor is still good enough for basic day-to-day tasks, office workload, and media streaming. It's paired with the Intel Xe G7 iGPU, which can even do some light gaming.
The GMKtec M3 Pro's dated hardware doesn't end there, though. Even though the Intel processor has support for DDR5 memory, the company chose a DDR4 motherboard. The good part is that the two SO-DIMM slots can hold up to 64GB of RAM running at 3200 MHz.
As for storage, there are two M.2 slots, and each of them can be equipped with up to an 8TB SSD, making the total support stand at 16TB (1TB WD_Black SN7100 curr. $184.99 on Amazon). GMK further highlights the compact design of the mini PC, measuring 128.5x127x51mm, making it easy to integrate into most setups.
Although it has a small form factor, there's a decent selection of ports, including:
- 1x 5Gbps USB Type-C with DP
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x 2.5G LAN
- 1x HDMI 2.0
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Other than that, there's WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. GMK also notes that the cooling setup of the mini PC allows the processor to reach up to 45W TDP in the performance mode.
Regarding the price, the choice of relatively dated hardware appears to have kept things affordable. At least, the barebone variant is in the budget-friendly range. Specifically, that configuration goes for $329.99, and with the M3P15 coupon code, an additional $15 discount can be scored. The other configurations available are:
- 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $479.99
- 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage for $679.99
