Acer unveils a new Haswell Chromebook priced at just $199

Acer America today announced the availability of a new $199.99 entry-level model in its new Acer C720 Chromebook line for budget-minded customers. Like all Acer C720 models, the Acer C720-2848 runs on an Intel Celeron processor based on the Haswell micro-architecture to deliver fast performance and up to 8.5 hours of battery life.⁽¹⁾

The Acer C720-2848 is a great option for families and students on a budget who need an effective way to be productive, share Google Docs with study groups, access apps for school, pay bills and stay in touch via social networks. The new C720-2848 Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on the Intel Haswell micro-architecture, so it delivers fast performance and battery life.
