Here is a recent Chromebook from Acer, this is a powerful unit more than capable of running Chrome Apps and that also means Android Apps – although some may look a little strange with the swap from portrait to landscape – so things that you use every day on your phone can now be viewed that little larger in your living room as well as on the road.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 is a fantastic value laptop. With its super-sharp 3:2 display, convertible capability and speedy performance this is one of the best Chromebooks out there. However, you can get cheaper alternatives, so make sure you want the extra perks before shelling out.

Perhaps the key thing about the Spin 713 is that it looks, feels and performs like a high-end Chromebook, while remaining thoroughly affordable. True, it’s not quite as speedy as the Dell Latitude 7410 Enterprise or HP C640 Enterprise, but it’s substantially cheaper while delivering a very similar experience.

Perhaps the most important thing about the Spin 713 is that it looks, feels and performs like a high-end Chromebook, while remaining thoroughly affordable. Granted, it’s not quite as speedy as the Dell Latitude Chromebook 7410 or HP Pro C640, but it’s substantially cheaper while delivering a similar experience – or a better one in some respects. It’s an excellent Chromebook and incredible value.

In fact, it even trumps HP with a better screen. The IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook beats it on performance and the Asus C436 smashes it on style, but as an all-round, top-value option, the Spin 713 is fantastically good.

The Acer Spin 713 is an impressive Chromebook from just about any angle. It's hard to find anything to complain about at all, though there are certainly more affordable models out there if you want to save yourself some cash. The size and the specs of this particular model make it ideal for office work, students, and anyone who needs a Chromebook that's a bit more serious and polished. It does the fun stuff too, but it's built for keeping you connected and productive wherever you are.

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.1.4 kg:
