The Acer Aspire Vero offers solid eco-friendly power without expecting a fortune from consumers. Boasting surprisingly good performance metrics, a clear sound system, long-lasting battery life of nearly 13 hours and a crisp webcam, Acer’s latest Vero is a good pick for conscious buyers. However, it’s bogged down by an underwhelming display, mushy keyboard and subpar SSD. I’m also not the biggest fan of its design, but you’ll certainly enjoy the Cypress Green, Mariana Blue, or Volcanic Gray more. If you’re looking for a similarly priced laptop with a better display, we recommend the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED. Otherwise, the Aspire Vero is a good pick for those who want to make a more environmentally sound decision when purchasing a laptop.

Taking care and becoming one with your surroundings is a high form of intelligence. Being interested, and investing in the Aspire Vero basically means that you want to make a difference. Interestingly, it is not perfect in terms of “laptopness”, but at the same time, it is very good for what it represents.Undoubtedly, Acer has done a great job in helping the environment and making an effort to become carbon neutral. We will be heavenly happy if all manufacturers go this way with most if not all of their notebooks. Until then, reuse, reduce, and recycle.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G7 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable.
