8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller Prototype Limited Edition lands on Amazon

Back in February, the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller got five additional colors dubbed the Prototype Limited Edition. The new gamepads are based on unreleased colors of the Nintendo 64, and they launched alongside matching colors for the Analogue 3D.
The 8BitDo 64 Controller Prototype Limited Edition colors have been exclusive to the 8BitDo eShop since their announcement, but that has changed now. 8BitDo has announced that buyers can now purchase them on Amazon, starting today.
The 8BitDo 64 Controller Prototype Limited Edition colors include Atomic Purple, Extreme Green, Ocean, Ghost, and Glacier. All five colors are available for $44.99 on Amazon. Amazon also has some of the colors from the Funtastic Limited Edition such as Clear, Fire, Smoke, Ice, and Watermelon. The color-accurate Gray version is also available for the same $44.99 price.
Regardless of the color you choose, the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller can be used with the Analogue 3D, Nintendo Switch systems, and devices running Windows and Android. 8BitDo also sells a 2.4GHz wireless edition of the 8BitDo 64 Controller which comes with a wireless receiver, but it is only compatible with the Analogue 3D, the original Nintendo 64 console, and devices running Windows 10 and above.
The 8BitDo 64 Controller has Hall Effect thumbsticks with wear-resistant metal joystick rings. Like the original Nintendo 64 controller, it features the signature C-buttons, A/B buttons, and Start button. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity, it can also be used as a wired controller with a USB-C cable.
