The quite large 65-inch Sony Bravia X90K arguably offers a lot of bang for the buck, especially since the sought-after 4K HDR TV with a native 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support has now hit its lowest price to date thanks to a significant discount at Amazon and other retailers.

As temperatures are falling across many regions in the US and the rather gloomy fall weather sets in, many people choose to spend more of their spare time inside their own home. Since watching TV is arguably one of the most common indoor activities, many regular consumers and gamers are currently looking to replace their aging display with a rather affordable mid-range set like the popular Sony Bravia X90K, which fortunately has now received its steepest discount since its release earlier this year.

The Seattle-based e-commerce behemoth Amazon and several other online retailers like Best Buy currently sell the large 65-inch version of the aforementioned Sony Bravia X90K for just US$998 instead of its original MSRP of US$1,599. Therefore, this deal for the well-performing 4K HDR TV offers almost 38 percent or more than US$600 in savings. Despite its comparatively affordable price, this television set comes with a beautiful VA panel with a native refresh rate of 120Hz, as well as support for Dolby Vision HDR content. According to Camelcamelcamel, this is Amazon's lowest price for this model variant of the Sony Bravia X90K by far, as it was previously sold for an average price of US$1,323.

In Rtings' comprehensive review, the Sony Bravia X90K was praised for its excellent contrast ratio and low black levels, which are improved by the full-array LED backlight's local dimming feature. This 4K TV is also able to display very vibrant and lively colors, and its HDR peak brightness of almost 800 nits in certain scenes is also more than adequate considering the budget-friendly price tag. All in all, the Sony Bravia X90K is a good choice for OLED skeptics or other prospective buyers who are in the market for a large 120Hz television set made by a reputable company for under US$1,000.
