However, CPU performance shouldn’t be much weaker, as the 16-core Core Ultra 7 255H is nearly identical to the Ultra 9 285H with only a slight frequency downgrade. Our testing shows that both CPUs are practically on par.

Unlike the CPU, however, the IdeaPad Pro 5i 16 on sale has the same RTX 5050 laptop GPU as the flagship config. The GPU is not a powerhouse by any means, but it will do a good job for FHD gaming and accelerating creative workloads.
