2025 Asus Vivobook 16 updated with Snapdragon X X1 processor for under $800 ↺
It's only been half a year since the launch of Snapdragon X laptops and the next generation of models is already upon us. Both the 14-inch Vivobook 14 and 16-inch Vivobook 16 are each getting updated this year with the Snapdragon X X1 26-100 promising 44 percent faster performance than the previous generation of Intel-based VivoBook 16 models and a faster 45 TOPS NPU. Asus is promising almost 20 hours of battery life with the new models to be some of the longest-lasting Windows laptops in the market.
Users who may not be fans of Windows on ARM will be glad to hear that the Vivobook 14 and 16 are also available with Ryzen AI 300 options. These AMD SKUs carry the model name M1407KA and M1607KA with retail prices $50 to $100 greater than their Snapdragon counterparts. All options are otherwise in the lower midrange category when compared to the higher-end Vivobook S series and even pricier Zenbook series.
