You can now get the Lenovo Slim 7i from Walmart for only US$774.99 which is a considerable 34% less than the US$1,179.99 list price (via slickdeals).
According to Honey's price history tool, the Lenovo Slim 7i's US$774.99 price is the lowest the laptop has dropped in 120 days.
Moving on to the hardware specifications, the Gen 8 Lenovo Slim 7i on offer is rocking a 13th-gen Intel Core i5-1340p, 16 GB of LPDDR5-5200 memory, 1 TB of PCIe storage, and a 14-inch 1800p IPS display that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Furthermore, the panel boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits of peak brightness, and a silky smooth 120 Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to performance, the 12-core Core i5-1340p is a very capable chip that matched the Core i7-1360p in the Cinbench R23 Multi-Core benchmark in our testing. Similarly, the processor’s single-core performance is also impressive, as it is practically identical to the Core i7-12850HX which has a base power limit of 55 W, double that of the Core i5-1340p.

The Core i7-1260p has the same single-core performance as the Core i5-1340p but it is 13% behind in multi-core workloads in the Cinebench R23 Single-Core and Multi-Core benchmarks respectively. So, you won’t be losing much performance if you decide to save some money and go with the last-gen Lenovo Slim 7i from Best Buy.
