The deal is notable for its latest generation Intel 12th gen Core i7-1260P CPU, 16:10 3840 x 2400 OLED touchscreen, 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512 GB PCie4 NVMe SSD which are all very high-end specifications for a convertible laptop. When compared to the cheaper Ideapad series, the pricier Yoga series is home to more luxurious models with better build quality and features.

During our time with the 1800p OLED version of the Yoga 9 14, we found the system to be impressive especially in terms of CPU and GPU power and audio quality for the small size. It is one of the few 14-inch convertibles to utilize 12th gen Intel Core P-series CPUs instead of the more common U-series. However, users should keep in mind the difficult serviceability and soldered RAM associated with the Lenovo. Alternatives like the Dell Inspiron 14 7420 2-in-1 are cheaper and with easily removable RAM and storage if needed.
