Apart from the thin bezels and the redesigned corners, the 2018 iPad Pro tablets are said to come with IPS LCD touchscreens plus the second-gen Apple Pencils, slimmer profiles (not including the rear camera), a USB-C port and a smart connector, True Depth camera setups with Face ID support, and, of course the latest 7 nm A12 Bionic SoC.

Apple’s refreshed iPad Pro tablets were already rumored to get upgraded hardware and reworked designs, but only a few of these updates were revealed in previous leaks. We knew about slimmer bezels and profile, plus the sharper corners, along with a repositioned smart connector; however, a recent Bloomberg managed to get the scoop on the remaining important updates and presented them in a recent report.

The slim bezel displays will use LCD touchscreens (most likely IPS), and the tablets will include a second-generation Apple Pencil. There will also be a USB-C port and the upper slim bezels will integrate True Depth camera setups for Face ID. On the hardware side, the new iPad Pro models should come with the latest 7 nm A12 Bionic SoC and a custom GPU. Apparently, there will not be any new iPad Mini versions, but Bloomberg might be wrong on this one, as several leaks reported that new Mini models should launch together with the refreshed 2018 ones.

All the new iPad versions are expected to be unveiled in two days, and, according to WCCFTech, Apple is also rumored to present an ultrabook powered by ULV CPUs.
