The Xtrem Instant Custom Case is a protective smartphone case featuring an integrated display. At its core is a round 4-inch E-Ink panel with a pixel density of 212 PPI that supports four colors. This technology is particularly well-suited for the use case, as E-Ink displays only consume power when updating content and require no energy to maintain a static image.

As a result, the case does not need a built-in battery; instead, it is powered via NFC. Images can be customized through a companion app, and content can even be transferred between two cases simply by placing them together.
