Xiaomi is expected to unleash the Redmi Note 15 series in China next month. Fuelling recent rumours, several rumoured models have turned up on IMEI databases and Chinese regulatory bodies like the 3C or the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). So far, the following model numbers have been linked to the Redmi Note 15 series:
- 25080RABDC
- 25098RA98C
- 2510ERA8BC
Typically, Xiaomi introduces three new Redmi Note smartphones simultaneously in China, as was the case with last year's Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $377 on Amazon). However, several leakers now believe that 25104RADAC is the model number behind the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. Potentially, 25104RADAC may be a variant of one of the three listed above rather than a distinct device.
As the image below shows, the MIIT has certified 25104RADAC to provide satellite messaging via BeiDou's satellite services. According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi only plans to offer satellite messaging on the 25104RADAC of its Redmi devices. On top of that, the same leaker emphasises that satellite messaging will be exclusive to the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus Special Edition model rather than to a top memory configuration. In other words, the 25104RADAC is unlikely to receive a global release in contrast to Xiaomi's other Redmi Note 15 series models.
