Xiaomi is anticipated to replace the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $629 on Amazon) with direct successors towards the end of the summer or by the early autumn at the latest. Based on current expectations, the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro will arrive around the same time as the flagship Xiaomi 16 series. However, while the latter will initially be confined to China, the Xiaomi 15T series should be available globally from day one.
In recent weeks, a wealth of evidence has emerged demonstrating that the Xiaomi 15T Pro is in an advanced stage of development. Now, the presumably cheaper Xiaomi 15T can be added to that list thanks to appearances on Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) public databases.
To recap, the model number '25069PTEBG' surfaced on IMEI databases at the start of the month under the brand-name Xiaomi rather than Poco or Redmi. As usual, these results did not provide the retail name for 25069PTEBG. NBTC has now filled in this gap though, as the larger of the two screenshots below shows. Meanwhile, the IMDA emphasises that the Xiaomi 15T is a 5G smartphone that Xiaomi plans to offer globally. Although specifications have not emerged yet, the Xiaomi 15T will likely share some of its hardware with the Xiaomi 15T Pro, which Xiaomi is expected to base on the recent Redmi K80 Ultra.
